U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Selvin Perez Thomas, a 24-year-old Guatemalan citizen February 26. Perez has a history of criminal offences, including driving under the influence, hit-and-run causing death or injury, and conspiracy to file a fraudulent insurance claim.
Perez has been deported from the U.S. twice. He is currently in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
