New Orleans Police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating a person of interest in connection with a homicide investigation.
Sought is Demond Smith (pictured), a Black male.
According to investigators, Demond Smith is believed to possess information regarding the death of Taj Smith, which occurred on August 15, 2015, in the 7300 block of Poitevent Avenue.
Note, Demond Smith is not currently wanted for this crime and is sought only because of information he is believed to possess.
