PC Hywel Williams, who was a student officer attached to the Central South Command Unit, was found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of discreditable conduct.
He was dismissed without notice following the conclusion of the hearing on Friday, 10 January.
Detective Chief Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh, said: “The misconduct hearing found that PC Williams had behaved in a way that is not compatible with being a serving police officer and it is only right that he has been dismissed.
“Officers are placed in a position of trust. We, and the public, expect them to adhere to this and where any behaviour falls below this level, action will be taken to remove them from the Met.”
It was alleged that in May 2022, PC Williams had engaged in the unwanted sexual touching of a colleague while off-duty.
A further eight allegations were found not proven.
Following the hearing, PC Williams will now be placed on the barred list held by the College of Policing. Those appearing on the list cannot be employed by police, local policing bodies (PCCs), the Independent Office for Police Conduct or His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services.
